You know your craft. Now learn to sell it.
For freelancers and future independents who already have a skill that clients pay for. Six weeks to work on your positioning, your offer, your pricing, your prospecting, your sales conversations and your follow-up, with a method drawn from the Essor team's sales experience.
Five reasons why the clients aren't coming
The invisible skill
You're good at what you do, but nobody outside your circle knows it.
The confusing offer
A prospect reads your introduction and still doesn't know what you sell, or at what price.
Disorganised prospecting
A few messages sent at random, no list, no follow-up, then nothing.
Pricing
A rate set at random, too low to live on or hard to justify.
Day-to-day freelance life
Follow-ups, quotes, invoices, organisation: everything nobody ever taught you.
Do at least two of these apply to you?
That's exactly what Mission Client works on, one week at a time. It isn't closer training: you learn to sell your own service.
To sell what you already know how to do
Mission Client doesn't teach you a profession: it assumes you already have one. That's the first thing we check together during the clarity call.
It's for you if…
- You already have a skill that clients pay for: UGC, social media, design, copywriting, virtual assistance, coaching…
- You're a freelancer and your business has plateaued
- You're employed and building a side business
- You're willing to reach out to real prospects
It's not for you if…
- You're starting from scratch, with no skill to sell: start with the Digital Academy instead
- You need income immediately
- You refuse to reach out to anyone
- You're looking for a degree or CPF funding
Six weeks, one concrete action per week
Each week produces something you can use straight away, in your own business.
Positioning and ideal client
A clear positioning statement and a profile of your typical clients. In session: a positioning workshop, with on-screen feedback.
Offer, pricing, portfolio
A one-page offer sheet, a price grid and a portfolio piece. First personalised review.
Identifying prospects
A list of qualified prospects, with a targeting method suited to your profession.
Prospecting and first conversations
Your first messages sent, by the rules: no unsolicited calls, no data scraping, no repeated chasing.
Sales conversations, objections, selling
A mock call and a written proposal. A group sales role-play. Second personalised review.
Follow-up, CRM, sales plan
An up-to-date tracking sheet, your quote and invoice templates, and your sales plan for the months ahead.
What you'll have in hand
- A positioning statement and a profile of your typical clients
- A one-page offer sheet and a price grid
- A portfolio piece
- A list of qualified prospects
- Your first prospecting messages, sent
- A mock call and a written proposal, with feedback
- A tracking sheet, quote and invoice templates
- A sales plan and a certificate of completion
In a group, remotely, on your own deliverables
Short videos
One per stage, to watch at your own pace.
6 live sessions
One a week, with the group, including a sales role-play.
2 personalised reviews
Of your offer and your proposal, the two deliverables that matter most for selling.
Ready-to-use templates
Offer sheet, price grid, proposal, quote, invoice.
Scripts
For your prospecting messages and your calls.
A tracking tool
A simple, CRM-style tracking sheet, so you never lose a prospect again.
Support comes through the group sessions and the two personalised reviews: there is no one-to-one coaching. A training programme guarantees neither a job nor a level of income: it gives you a method and support. Nobody can guarantee you a first client; we commit to a programme, deliverables and feedback.
First, a clarity call, free of charge
To check together that you really do have a skill to sell, and that Mission Client is the right programme for you. About 30 minutes by video call with Vanessa, with no commitment and nothing to prepare.
A time slot
You pick a time that suits you, or you write to us.
We take stock
What you can already do, how much time you have, what you're looking for.
We point you in the right direction
The programme that suits you, or none if the timing isn't right.
You decide
You know the programme, the format and the fee. You take the time to think it over.
Mission Client in practice
I don't have a skill to sell yet. Is it for me?
No. Mission Client assumes you can already do something clients pay for. To learn a digital marketing profession, see the Digital Academy.
How much time should I set aside?
A few hours a week for 6 weeks, sessions included: as a guide, 4 to 6 hours. We'll discuss it during the call.
Is there one-to-one support?
There's no one-to-one coaching. You get 6 group sessions and 2 personalised reviews of your own deliverables.
Will I find clients?
We can't promise that. You leave with a clear offer, a prospect list, messages sent and a follow-up method. What happens next depends on your skill, your work and your market.
How much does it cost?
The fee is presented to you during the clarity call, depending on the programme and format that suit you.
Why a call before signing up?
To check that Mission Client will genuinely be useful to you. If you don't have a skill to sell yet, we'll tell you, and point you elsewhere.
When does the next group start?
Not all dates are set yet. We'll tell you during the call when the next group can start.
Not quite your situation?
Three programmes, three starting points. If you're unsure, that's exactly what the clarity call is for. Compare all three →
